 · The anki deck I am using is called the "Lazy kanji mod" and is publicly available to download within Anki - shared decks (it comes with pre-made stories (mnemonics) so you don't have to bother thinking of your own - although it might help to make up your own.  · My deck, which contains all the kanji from RTK1, is a shared deck on Anki, and can be found by searching “Lazy Kanji + Mod”. Some of the “stories” are idiosyncratic to my strange tastes and sense of humor, but most of them are generic enough to be useful to anyone.  · 1. Download and install Anki 2. Inside Anki, download the "Lazy Kanji Mod V2" shared deck (instruction video here) 3. Place a piece of paper and writing utensil in front of you The Recipe: 4. (Optional, but recommended) If you have Remembering the Kanji book, review the Kanji's pictoral breakdown, and review the hint image/story.

Assuming your priority is installing RTK mod deck, try to do the following steps on a PC (or a mac) if you can: 1. Make backup of Lazy Kanji deck (with reviews) and delete it. 2. Delete RTK mod deck, and reinstall it. If this works (you are able to import all new cards) 3. Change the note type of RTK mod deck. 4. Re-import Lazy Kanji deck.
